Conjured Poison Stories for skin, spirit, and altar

reweaving the many parts of you that have been disconnected through colonization. This is done by working with the medicine of the earth, both physically and spiritually, to help restore harmony in our larger ecosystem. Sustainability is more than just a word at Venusian. It’s the ingredients, packaging, methods, integrity, and how the community is treated. Even with the resource challenges that come with being a Black-owned brand, Venusian is devoted to continually focusing on ways to make the experience more sustainable for all. This looks like recyclable bottles and jars, packages being sent with minimal excess brand materials, careful ingredient sourcing, and much, much more.

Venusian is here to support your skin and spirit…

Venusian Ceremonial Art was born from a predestined and natural progression of myself as an esthetician, artist, spiritual doctor, and priestess. In 2018 I launched my debut skincare line, Selenite Alchemy, with two skin products: Nefertiti honey masque and Queen of The Nile botanical mist. They were instant hits with my clients, and I knew I had something special on my hands. However, there were still things that were not yet in alignment. A few years and several spiritual initiations later, I have returned with a clearer vision and more creative freedom. Through my unique creation process involving occult techniques & ancestral storytelling, Venusian Ceremonial Art is avant-garde beauty catered to the modern Black mystic.

The birth of Venusian Ceremonial Art

Decolonizing beauty, love, spirituality, art, and wellness through the medicine of poisons and ancestor reverence.

As a curious spirit, muva of two, wife, and spiritualist, my ancestral technology, Hoodoo-Rootwork-Conjure, is integral to my life. Like many from my hometown of Austin, Texas, I was born in a hospital by the river. Coming from lineages of Black (+ Indigenous) Texans and other Black southern folk, I have inherited something rich and complex. Something that can be felt the world over. My journey back to my ancestors was long and winding, but the juju always been in the blood.

My professional path in beauty began in 2011 (right after I graduated high school) as a freelance makeup artist. In October of 2015, I started the part-time esthetics program at Avenue Five Institute, graduated in July 2016, and received my esthetics license in August 2016. Over the course of the last decade, I have obtained numerous certifications and trainings in esthetic modalities, herbalism & aromatherapy, energy work, psychology, birth & death rites, nutrition, and more. As an autodidact, most of my learning comes via direct experience, mediumship, ancestral & spiritual guidance, elders, select books, and select courses should they align with my purpose and goals.
